CLCF Ceasing Operations

Over the past five years the Centre for Low Carbon Futures has raised funds and leveraged investment of over £27 million to its member institutions which include the University of Birmingham, University of York, University of Sheffield, University of Hull, and University of Leeds . These members have now decided to take forward collaboration on an individual project basis, building on the relationships that have been developed through the joint working that has successfully developed during the period that CLCF has operated.  As such, CLCF will cease to operate as an independent organisation from January 2015.

We have produced over 25 reports on the application of new technologies in the sustainability arena, having achieved great impact in the sector.   A review of our activities has been published, and this impact report along with all the details of our previous projects and collaborations, will remain on this website during 2015.
