Event: Integration of Renewables into the Power Markets of Europe

The Centre for Low Carbon Futures has been invited to participate at the Integration of Renewables into the Power Markets of Europe, a one-day workshop intended to be a venue for debate, dialogue and insights for participants from industry, the research community and governments. Participants will hear perspectives regarding the integration of renewables into the European power markets and look at the current situation and whether markets are ready for the challenge, including political and legislative implications.

Jonathan Radcliffe, Programme Director for Energy Storage at CLCF will be speaking on "The challenge of integrating more variable production and the possible solutions," offering a UK perspective. The event has been organised by the IEA Renewable Energy Working Party, The Research Council of Norway and the International Energy Agency.
