The Centre for Low Carbon Futures will launch its latest report on energy storage at Chatham House in London on Monday 14th July 2014. The report focuses on the vital role of international collaboration for energy storage innovation and is a product of international research undertaken by CLCF in Korea.

Dr Jonathan Radcliffe (CLCF) and Professor Peter Taylor (University of Leeds) have led the research and will present the findings of the UK-Korea project, funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office as part of its Prosperity Fund. Dr Jin Chang-soo from the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP) will present a Korean perspective. A wider discussion will look at opportunities in other markets, including China and Germany.

Sir David King, FCO Special Representative for Climate Change, will chair a session on establishing markets for energy storage internationally, and programmes of joint innovation. CLCF is also working with Chatham House on a wider international analysis of where and how energy storage should be effectively deployed to help drive the global low carbon transition.
